Advise Features

·        Installed via a simple setup utility that can be executed via a web browser (MS Internet Explorer recommended)

·        Self-updating – just set the “Check for Updates” box on the options screen and Advise will check for new versions each time the application is started.

·        Display detailed demographic and historical information about a specific supporter or alumnus.

·        Export data about a supporter to an Excel spreadsheet or an MS Access database (requires MS Excel and MS Access).

·        Print a report summarizing all available information about a supporter. You can also save this report as an ascii file or export it to MS Word.

·        Use the Advise Query Wizard to easily create dynamic queries that will be executed against the remote, Advise database. No previous knowledge of SQL is required. The AQW will walk you through the steps and will create a valid SQL statement for you "behind the scenes."

·        Download the results of queries to an MS Access database on your PC (requires MS Access).

·        Export the results of your queries to an MS Excel spreadsheet (requires MS Excel).

·        Maintain personal notes about specific supporters in a local, MS Access database on your workstation (requires MS Access).

·        All documentation is online in the form of a fully integrated, context-sensitive, Windows help system.

·        Development Officers can create contact reports which will be uploaded to the main data entry system once approved by Development Office personnel.

·        Changes to supporter/alumnus demographic information may be entered and will be posted to the main data entry system once approved.
